MORE HOURS IN THE DAY. IT'S THE ONE THING EVERYONE WANTS, AND YET IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO GET.
Most knowledge professionals and marketers are struggling with too few team members and too much work, with 80% saying they’re understaffed and overloaded, according to a study by Workfront.
An alarming 1 out of 4 also describe their life as “overly stressed” or “stressed to the max.” In addition, many believe that bad work processes are hurting results including, for example, 36% who say delayed approvals cause work to be completed late twice a week or more.
How will you grow if you can't get the work done on time? What if you could free up significant time—maybe as much as 20% of your workday—to focus on the responsibilities that really matter?
I'm Den Pope and I help great companies, agencies and nonprofits save time, money and frustration by achieving their goals faster and easier with less stress and more confidence going forward. I research, write and edit on demand, which means you're always ready to take advantage of opportunities and solve problems creatively, fearlessly and decisively.
I start projects fast and strong with clear goals, well-defined schedules and milestones, and agreement on performance expectations. You get clear thinking, competitive strategies and smart writing to help you break through, engage, inspire, entertain, immerse and motivate. As important, I have a sense of humor and get along well with everyone.
I'm also completely digital so I don't need you to provide an office, lunch, car services or first-class flights. You have support when you need it without any of the cost or hassles of adding permanent staff.
HOW WE CAN WORK TOGETHER
Are you launching a new idea or growing your business? Do you have a writing project due yesterday?
You’ll find details about how we work together here.
MY BACKGROUND
I help companies, agencies and nonprofits create messages that drive revenue by connecting people with products, services and ideas that help them solve problems and improve their lives.
I’ve created brand narratives and taglines, websites, long- and short-form content, articles, videos, native and traditional advertising, books, research programs, employee communications, CEO speeches, direct response emails, landing pages and more to help launch and evolve bold, amazing ideas and brands.
My fascination with words and marketing began at age 9 when I read the back of a Cap'n Crunch box and was swept away by the thought of owning my own "5 in 1 Cap'n Crunch Treasure Chest." It was only a buck and, well, "just look at what you could do with it!" Around the same time, I discovered I enjoyed TV more for the ads than the programs. I had become hooked on both Cap'n Crunch and the art of storytelling.
So I never had trouble answering the "What do you want to do when you grow up?" question (although I flirted with being a TV weatherman for a few months and obsessively posted the day's forecast on our refrigerator every morning as practice).
Obviously, storytelling has evolved since then, but I love the way it's transformed.
Technology, as a creative partner, has always shaped the ways in which stories are found and told. Today, digital is increasingly making audiences active participants in the storytelling process rather than passive consumers.
But the fundamentals of storytelling and effective communication haven't changed since the beginning of human history. Communicate well and you'll connect with people. In fact, in the right hands words are the most powerful tools on the planet to break through, engage, seduce, sell, inspire, entertain and motivate.
Grow and thrive while staying lean and flexible. Clear thinking, big ideas and smart writing on demand.
